Study campus

The Johan de Witt Scholengroep is a comprehensive school. This means you can also attend classes and continue learning outside of regular school hours.

Saturday school Sister Street

Saturday School Zusterstraat 2026 - 2027

In addition to students from the Johan de Witt Scholengroep, the Zusterstraat Saturday School also welcomes students from other secondary schools. We also offer a special program for students in grades 7 and 8 of primary school.

Secondary school students

At the Zusterstraat Saturday School, you can find extra help with certain subjects. Under the guidance of experienced tutors, you can work on subjects you find difficult. We also work on planning, organizing, and learning how to learn. This way, you'll not only get help with the subjects you find difficult, but you'll also learn how to learn best!

In the upper grades, the focus is more on taking responsibility for your own learning process. The tutors are primarily there to answer your questions and explain the material. This way, you'll be optimally prepared for your exams!

High Dosage Tutoring (HDT)

At HDT, we offer our students extra subject-specific support in groups of a maximum of 4 students. This ensures plenty of personal attention and tailored guidance. Teachers and mentors determine the content, on which our (student) tutors cover the material for one lesson hour per week. Students are responsible for bringing their own materials.

We operate an open enrollment system where students can now sign up for any other subject they need help with, in addition to basic skills in Dutch, Mathematics, and English. Please note, however, that space is limited and the number of registrations also partly determines whether we can actually schedule the subject. Therefore, with this open enrollment, there is not always a spot available immediately. You can register via this link: InschrijvingHDT

Homework Institute

The Johan de Witt Homework Institute is available to all students at the Johan de Witt Zusterstraat location. Experienced tutors provide after-school homework support and tutoring at the Johan de Witt. We help organize assignments and study tasks, teach study skills, and provide extra attention to subjects a student finds difficult.

The homework institute takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the 7thhour in rooms Z1.01 & Z1.02. You can register via your own Somtoday schedule by signing up for these elective classes in the upcoming week. So plan your support well in advance.

Participation is free.
