At our school we pay extra attention to reading. We spend extra time reading during Dutch lessons, but we also provide extra support and challenge outside of it. The life story of that world-famous footballer, a thriller that would not be out of place as a Netflix series or a classic like Harry Potter: there is a gripping book for everyone.
Of course we want to provide a wide choice of books, so that there is something for everyone. That is why we have a beautiful media library at our location on Zusterstraat with more than 14,000 books. We put together the collection with care, seeking a balance between all departments of the school, the different age groups and fiction and non-fiction. Students from other locations can also borrow books from this media library. You can already choose from 8,000 books.
In our reading messages, students, parents and staff are kept informed of developments and activities in the field of reading within our school.
