Student council

Students regularly have good ideas about activities within the school. For example, organizing a party or an idea to make school more fun for everyone. The student can then contact the student council. This is a group of students who meet regularly under the supervision of a deputy director and discuss and develop ideas. This way they learn to work together and express their opinions. The council represents the interests of all students. The members of the student council must be elected. The elections for this are held every year at the beginning of the school year.

Participation council

The participation council consists of a number of members who jointly represent the staff, students and parents of the Johan de Witt School Group. The MR regularly consults with the management about various topics at school. The MR can advise the management and in some cases can also agree to certain matters. Staff, students and parents each choose their own representatives for the MR. They can cast their vote in an election.

You can contact the MR via:

Parent council: What do we do?

We are in the process of forming a parent council for the Zusterstraat Hooftskade and Capadosestraat locations. Would you like more information or to register for the parent council? Please contact the location managers:

The parent council of the Johan de Witt School Group is a group of enthusiastic and involved parents who are committed to the other parents, the students and the school in all kinds of ways. In concrete terms, this means that the parent council:

  • Meets five times a year; Discussions include education policy
  • A voice for all parents, we strive to ensure that all locations are represented
  • Serves as a sounding board for the school management
  • Maintains contact with the Participation Council (MR)
  • Organizes theme evenings
  • Actively helps during information evenings and open days
